Our offices are based in Banbury, Oxfordshire and our work with historic buildings takes us all over the UK. Our portfolio includes scheduled monuments, churches, cathedrals, historic houses, castles, and forts.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Qualified Architect RIBA / ARB or Surveyor RICS
- At least 5 years of experience of conservation and heritage, listed buildings
- Proficient in CAD and IT
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Experience liaising with clients and relevant stakeholders
- Experience in undertaking complex condition surveys of heritage sites
- Understanding of traditional building materials
- Undertaking risk assessments for surveys and work
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Accreditation in Building Conservation
- Proficient in Vectorworks
- IHBC Member
- Experience of working on all types of listed buildings
- Experience of working with archaeology and scheduled monuments
- Experience in heritage research and assessment
- Experience of being a heritage expert within a design team, and sharing specialist knowledge
- Mobile working platform and harness training / certification
OTHER
- Full-time position working at 37.5 hours per week
- The role will include travelling to sites around the UK
- The role will require visiting existing buildings and inspecting the fabric at height
