CONSERVATION OF THE WEST FRONT
Much of the high-level work is now complete including the replacement stonework to the apex pinnacle, the restoration of the apex window and the repointing and shelter coating of the stonework. The careful process of undertaking local repairs and cleaning of the Great West Window is being carried out during May and June and the works to the central section of the west front will be completed later this year.
